GOLIATH will be making it’s international debut this weekend! First stop, Cracow, Poland, for the Off Camera Film Festival, Oct. 2nd at 19:00 and Oct. 4th at 16:00. The following day, GOLIATH will be playing in London at the Raindance Film Festival (Oct. 5th, 19:00).
We’re very excited to be screening at both of these festivals, and would like to thank everyone who made this possible. As a special bonus, here are the Polish program notes for “Goliat”:
Goliatrez.
…and then translated back into English again (via computer-y online translator):
Image starting assembled photo man, cat and face his wife, it divorces with which exactly, producer appeals for essence of human form. Plot of movie seems at comic situations from life of hero secondary problem. Amusing aspects simple emphasizing so and bleak actions as trimming of beard or signing of divorce paper, brothers David and Nathan Zellner, they prove that they are planes, amusing, observant.
Filmmaker Magazine just posted its “25 New Faces of Independent Film” for 2008 and the Zellner Brothers made the cut. We’re right under the guy from the Daily Show. Very special thanks to Filmmaker and Scott Macaulay for including us.
